We have been coming to Shaker Village since 1974. People always ask us if we have family in Kentucky, and we answer ”yes,” our extended family at Shaker Village.

The friendliness, the peacefulness, the beautiful breath-taking views and oh yes, THE FOOD, captured our hearts years ago.  The Shakers believed in making Heaven on Earth & they surely succeeded at Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill. How much do we love Shaker Village? Denny put a sign in our garden while we are busy putting our "hands to work, hearts to God.”
